Palma de Mallorca is known for La Seu, a huge cathedral that is notable not just for its impressive architecture but also for its fascinating history. The Old City is also a remarkable place to visit. Its colorful streets still have an unmistakable Arabian influence. Most of its buildings are still residential structures, with the first story converted into quaint shops and museums. Another place of interest is the Banys Arabs, one of the few remaining traces of the Moorish history of Palma. While the bath itself is a cultural wonder to behold, traversing the path going there is also a wonderful experience. You will pass through the gardens of Ca’n Fontirroig, home to lush plants and flowers and several species of birds.
